Pfullendorf is a small town of about 13,000 inhabitants located 25 km north of Lake Constance in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was a Free Imperial City of the Holy Roman Empire for nearly 600 years. The town is in the district of Sigmaringen south of the Danube valley and therefore on the continental divide between the watersheds of the Rhine and the Danube. The area is known as the Linzgau.

Oldest city of Germany

Trier is a significant city. Located in south-west Germany, merely 10 km (6 mi) from the Luxembourg border and 193 km (120 mi) south-west of Frankfurt, it makes a convenient — and very worthwhile — day trip from Cologne or Frankfurt.
Trier is Germany’s oldest city as, in 2,000 B.C. the Assyrians established a settlement here. This Roman colony was founded in the command of Augustus in 16 B.C. and subsequently became a preferred dwelling of several Roman emperors and ultimately became known as “the second Rome.”
Subsequently, it got the popularity as a foremost hub of Constantine the Great, the first Christian Roman king. He even established the oldest church here in the year 326, the Trier Cathedral (Trierer Dom).

Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Frickingen in der Kirchstraße und gehen hinunter bis zur Graf Burchard Halle. Anschließend gehen wir wieder alles zurück bis zur Altheimer Straße. Danach gehen wir bis zur Quelle des Dorfbaches in der Kirchstraße zurück.

Dieses Video war der Wunsch eines Zuschauers und damit eines neuen Abonnenten. Wir starten den Rundgang vor der Klosterkirche in der Hohenzollernstraße in Wald/Hohenzollern. Wir gehen in der Hohenzollernstraße weiter bis in die Sankertsweilerstraße. Dann geht es zurück bis zum Weiherweg und dann rund um den Klosterweiher wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
