Things to do in Squamish British Columbia
Squamish British Columbia is full of breathtaking views and outdoor adventure. During our visit we tackled the panoramic sights and gut checking suspension bridge of the Sea to Sky Gondola. Watched a flurry of kite boarders flying across Howe Sound. stopped into a delicious Lebanese restaurant for lunch. Guzzled a few refreshing pints at Howe Sound Brewing. Cycled a forested bike path and camped out in an unbelievably affordable campground.

Epic View from the Sea to Sky Gondola Squamish British Columbia
The Sea to Sky Gondola, Squamish BC is one of the incredible tourist attractions that is just a must see and it's only a short 45 minute drive up the scenic Sea to Sky highway from Vancouver.
The sea to sky gondola ascends high above the Chief (famous for rock climbing and hiking) and goes back into pristine rain forest. An incredible lodge has been perched at the top of the 10 minute gondola ride. The views are nothing less than magnificent. They have a fine dinning as well as casual food from the restaurant where you can either enjoy inside or outside on one of the decks overlooking the incredible view of Howe Sound.
On our way, we stopped by at Shannon Falls which is literally beside the parking lot of the Sea to Sky Gondola.

Tourism Squamish recently invited myself and some other local online media folks to come get a taste of life in nearby Squamish. It is like a little secret paradise, less than an hour’s drive from Vancouver. Here are some of the amazing adventures we experienced.

Within easy reach of Vancouver are some of British Columbia's most interesting and beautiful destinations. Quaint island towns and the provincial capital of Victoria are just a ferry ride away. A drive up the famous Sea-to-Sky-Highway leads past Squamish and up to the renowned ski resort of Whistler, one of the venues of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Inland, towards the Fraser Valley, are Bridal Veil Falls; Fort Langley National Historic Site; and Harrison Hot Springs, known for its hot pools, beach, and small-town atmosphere.
