Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States; more specifically, between the province of Ontario and the state of New York. They form the southern end of the Niagara Gorge.
From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls lie on the Canadian side and the American Falls on the American side, separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls are also located on the American side, separated from the other waterfalls by Luna Island. The international boundary line was originally drawn through Horseshoe Falls in 1819, but the boundary has long been in dispute due to natural erosion and construction.
Located on the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world, with a vertical drop of more than 165 feet (50 m). Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America, as measured by vertical height and also by flow rate. The falls are located 17 miles (27 km) north-northwest of Buffalo, New York and 75 miles (121 km) south-southeast of Toronto, between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, New York.

Temiskaming Shores is a city in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. It was created by the amalgamation of the town of New Liskeard, the town of Haileybury, and the township of Dymond in 2004. The city had a total population of 9,920 in the Canada 2016 Census. Temiskaming Shores is Ontario's second-smallest city, in terms of population, after Dryden. Haileybury is the seat of Timiskaming District. Prior to the amalgamation of Temiskaming Shores, the region was commonly nicknamed The Tri-Towns, a designation that also encompassed the neighbouring town of Cobalt. Cobalt was also part of the original Temiskaming Shores amalgamation plan, but rejected the merger. The Tri-Towns designation may still be used on occasion, but has become significantly less common since the municipal amalgamation. In the Canada 2001 Census, the last Canadian census before the amalgamated city came into effect, New Liskeard had a population of 4,906, Haileybury had a population of 4,543, and Dymond had a population of 1,181. 'Cedar Echo Retreat' - Set on a well treed lot, this three bedroom plus Bunkie family in Eastern Ontario is a great four season family getaway. The cottage has a partially covered, gated deck, with a hot tub - and a TV for outside viewing! Lots of extras like a deck heater, green egg bbq as well as propane bbq, and lots of watercraft to explore the lake. The cottage is well equipped with dishwasher, laundry and in the spacious rec room on the lower level is a 52 satellite TV, wi-fi. Located about ten minutes from Westport. Owners are located on the lake for assistance if needed.

This trip brings us to Missouri where we dig at a private location for Barite, Galena, and my personal favorite....micro-crystalline(drusy) quartz on stromatolites (fossil algae). I know it doesn't sound that appealing but let me tell you, the drusy quartz we dig from this spot has the best twinkle/sparkle that I have ever seen! It's like thousands of tiny melee diamonds twinkling when the light catches it. I sold every last piece I had from this dig and I had a bunch. The most coveted is the nice white or blueish-gray drusy on fossil coral pieces. It has to be seen in person, in sunlight especially, to really appreciate it. This stuff was laying all over the place and we collected till we could carry no more.
