Kenora District is a district and census division in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. It was created in 1907 from parts of Rainy River District. It is geographically the largest division in that province; at 407,213.01 square kilometres , it comprises almost 38 percent of the province's land area, making it larger than Newfoundland and Labrador, and slightly smaller than Sweden. Kenora District also has the lowest population density of any of Ontario's census divisions, and it ranks 37th out of 50 by population. The district seat is the City of Kenora.   • 1. Husky The Muskie Kenora
    Huskie the Muskie is the nickname of a 40-foot-tall outdoor sculpture depicting a muskellunge in Kenora, Ontario's McLeod Park. The first Huskie was constructed in 1967 as a potential Canadian Centennial project by Jules Horvath and Bob Selway from Deluxe Signs and Displays under the direction of the Kenora Chamber of Commerce. Since then the effigy has received national recognition in part due to its size and position alongside the Trans-Canada Highway. The original was rebuilt in 1995. A call to the public was made for a suitable name for the giant fish and from the hundreds of entries received the name Huskie the Muskie was agreed upon by the committee.     Kenora, originally named Rat Portage , is a small city situated on the Lake of the Woods in Northwestern Ontario, Canada, close to the Manitoba boundary, and about 200 km east of Winnipeg. It is the seat of Kenora District. The town of Rat Portage was amalgamated with the towns of Keewatin and Norman in 1905 to form the present-day City of Kenora. In 2001, the towns of Kenora and Keewatin as well as the unincorporated communities of Norman and Jaffray Melick amalgamated under the Municipal Act, 2001. Kenora is the administrative headquarters of the Anishinabe of Wauzhushk Onigum, Obashkaandagaang Bay, and Washagamis Bay First Nation band governments.

    Redditt is an unincorporated community in Unorganized Kenora District in northwestern Ontario, Canada. It is on the MacFarlane River, and located at the northern terminus of Ontario Highway 658, 27 kilometres north of Kenora. Redditt is also the name of the surrounding geographic township that includes the community.A designated place served by a local services board, Redditt had a population of 153 in the Canada 2011 Census.
