Shannonville Motorsport Park is a motorsport road course circuit in Canada. It is located 15 km east of Belleville, Ontario, roughly midway between Toronto and Montreal, Quebec, near Highway 401 and along the former Provincial Highway 2. It has many configurations, and its tight layout with lots of run-off space makes it a very good venue for race testing. Many race teams from Toronto and Montreal test at Shannonville in preparation for events held on street circuits, as the Shannonville raceway shares a lot of the same characteristics. The National Air Force Museum of Canada, formerly known as the RCAF Memorial Museum, is an aviation museum dedicated to preserving the history of the Royal Canadian Air Force and is located on the west side of CFB Trenton in Trenton, Ontario.Opened April 1, 1984 on the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the RCAF, it is home to a large collection of RCAF aircraft and artifacts. The museum is a permanent archive which collects, preserves and displays Royal Canadian Air Force memorabilia, photographs, paintings and documents as a lasting tribute and memorial to all the men and women who served our nation in the RCAF and its predecessor organizations.

We went 60 feet below the surface, where the temperature stays around 10 to 12 degrees celcius. One narrow path leads to several open chambers in this series of caves and fossils that dates back to the Ordovician Period.
Bonnechere Caves are also real-life bat-cave. No Joke - It's home to several bats in the winter months! How cool is that?!?!

This was definitely the highlight of our time in the Ottawa Valley and Ontario's Highlands!

The Horton Mine: Encountering a Ghost in a Haunted, Abandoned Mine (Summer 2013)

I had a startling encounter with the supernatural while exploring the abandoned Horton Mine located near the massive Victorine Mine in Nevada. The Horton Mine dates back to the mid-1800s. I have been inside over a hundred abandoned mines, but this one was definitely the creepiest. As I ventured hesitantly down the tunnel, it felt more and more wrong. You'll see in the video the supernatural occurrence that caused me to ultimately turn around and head back out of the tunnel.

So we decided to take a trip down to the auto show today. One minute the weather was clear, and the next we had a nice sheet of snow in front of us.
