San Pedro, Belize Vacation
A quick video of my vacation to San Pedro, Belize. I also visited Secret Beach and went snorkeling, but those are in other posted videos. This is more of a overall view of the city of San Pedro and my accommodations at Ramon's Village Hotel. One of my reasons for choosing Ramon's Village was that they have a walk up proper beach area. Most of the Caribbean Ocean side of the island does not have a beach, so this was something I wanted to have on my first visit to Belize. There is some drone footage mixed in as well showcasing where I stayed and the island. Please see my Belize Playlist link at the end of this video for more. Thanks!

Join as we visit Ljubljana, Slovenia in this travel guide covering some of the best things to do in the city including highlighting the local food and restaurant scene, museums worth visiting, the old town, castle, quirky neighborhoods and more. With a week in Ljubljana, Slovenia we had plenty of time to cover the main attractions in the city along with take some day trips. 10 Things to do in Ljubljana, Slovenia Travel Guide Video Transcript:
Prešeren Square is a central meeting spot in the heart of the Old Town, so it made sense to start our tour of Ljubljana here. You’ll find the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation, lots of gelato shops, and the baffling bridge we just mentioned.
As for the reasoning behind the Triple Bridge and the famed dragon bridge, which is guarded by four dragons.
Ljubljana’s Central Market is another spot worth checking out.
We needed to sample some Slovenian food so we went to Allegria.
Sam ordered Zlikrofi (zhlee-krofi), a Slovenian dumpling stuffed with potato + lamb goulash along with Slovenian sausage with cabbage & potatoes.
Ljubljana Castle, which sits on Castle Hill overlooking the city. Built as a medieval fortress in the 11th century, Ljubljana Castle has seen many redesigns and renovations. Climb the Outlook Tower for 360 degree views of the city.
There are departures for cruises down the Ljubljanica. We boarded a cruise directly underneath the Love Lock Bridge, which is actually called Mesarski Most. It was our favourite activity in Ljubljana and it was a super relaxed way to watch the city.
Metelkova is home to the best street art.
One place we really enjoyed was Sarajevo 84, a restaurant specializing in Balkan cuisine. The portions massive & everything we ordered was delicious.
We had a feast featuring: grilled meat with pita and onions, baked beans and sausage, roasted peppers, and a flaky pastry stuffed with cheese. It only came to 23 Euros.
Speaking of galleries and museums, a few you’ll find include: the National Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art, and the National Museum of Slovenia.
We finished off at Tivoli, which is the largest park in Ljubljana.
And that’s it for our time in Ljubljana. Our visit was short, tasty, and relaxing, and we’re really glad we made some time to visit this underrated capital.

This little slice of tropical heaven offers a total escape from everyday life. One of the smallest, most stylish resorts in the Indian Ocean has just 33 thatched villas inspired by dhonis with large, secluded decks for lounging on or slipping into the lagoon. Holistic, Asian-inspired treatments are offered in the COMO Shambhala Retreat, which has an open-air yoga pavilion and four treatments rooms, including one for couples. There’s a main restaurant, Ufaa, but guests tend to hide away in their villa or opt for private dining on the beach.

Cheval Blanc Randheli is a 40-minute ride from Malé on the resort’s private seaplane and has a touch of old-school glamour about it. There are 45 villas, some on a private man-made island, some overwater with a private jetty and infinity pool and lots of sumptuous extras including complimentary massages to relieve jet-lag, toiletries created exclusively for the resort by Dior, and four restaurants overseen by Yannick Alléno, three-Michelin-starred chef. A Guerlain spa on its own island got the Royal seal of approval – the resort is where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose to check in on their first holiday sans George.

The more remote of the Four Seasons’ two Maldives properties lies in the Baa Atoll and has 102 thatched sunrise or sunset beach and water villas edging the large lagoon. There’s also the chance to visit virgin dive sites and uninhabited islands aboard luxury liveaboard The Four Seasons Explorer, a sleek three-deck catamaran. The land-based villas feel the most authentic and private.

Despite being situated 30 minute sea plane ride from Male, the resort feels wonderfully remote. There are long stretches of sandy beach where, even in high season, you might not glimpse anybody else. For diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, large coral reefs full of glittering fish are just a short boat ride away. Each villa has been carefully designed for maximum privacy, with thoughtful touches such as candles in the bathroom. There is a wide range of activities on offer, from pedalo excursions to honeymooners’ favorite 'The Sandbar Picnic' – a day-trip on a yacht, with a drop-off on a deserted island where you can enjoy a romantic meal on the beach.
Jumeirah Vittaveli, Maldives
Vittaveli is a 20-minute motorized catamaran ride from Male’s airport island. There is an eclectic mix of architectural styles throughout the resort - most striking is the modernist Samsara restaurant with its dramatically angled roof and glass walls. The standard beach villas are spacious, with a generous bathroom area that extends to an open-air shower, l-shaped swimming pool and a small private garden with day bed and swing. Romantics can retreat to one of the seven humongous ocean suites that are accessible only by boat. Facilities on the island include an Asian-inspired spa, yoga classes, a gym, and an excellent water-sports center that makes good use of a thriving house reef.
