Alfred and Plantagenet is a township in eastern Ontario, Canada, in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. Located approximately 70 km from downtown Ottawa at the confluence of the Ottawa River and the South Nation River. The township was formed on January 1, 1997, through the amalgamation of Alfred Township, Alfred Village, North Plantagenet Township, and Plantagenet Village. Near the town of Alfred, the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources has designated the Alfred Bog as a provincially significant wetland and an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest.     Saint-Sauveur is a town and municipality within the Les Pays-d'en-Haut Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada. It is in the administrative region of Laurentides in the Laurentian mountains, located about 60 kilometres north of Montreal. St-Sauveur is well known for its local ski areas, the biggest of which is Mont Saint-Sauveur. The ski areas market themselves jointly under the name of Valley of Saint-Sauveur. Its proximity to Montreal, as well as its snow-making capability, night-time skiing, and après-ski establishments make St-Sauveur a popular destination for skiers.
