Beautiful Rockwood Ontario Summer 2012
Rockwood, Ontario view from top of the cliff, which is off the trails. Taken on the last camping trip of 2012 on Labor Day Weekend.
Would definitely recommend visiting and camping here. Amazing view, lots of trails and boating. Definitely a cost effective vacation, one of the best places I've been camping in the area.

Rockwood Park Campground is far enough away from the city, but only five minutes away from nearest the supermarket and countless things to do.
The park itself is massive! It’s home to six lakes, walking trails, playground, horseback riding and fishing all within walking distance. What more could you ask for? What a great way to kick off your start to the Fundy Trail experience.

We were KICKED OUT our first time boondocking!
We ventured out with some friends to give boondocking a shot and were kicked out! It all worked out and thankfully we just had to change locations. We decided to head to American Girl Mine for the rest of the week and had a great time. We were surprised we made it 14 days out there without needing to dump (and only had to refill water slightly). We are definitely starting to research a good battery setup because we want to get out and boondock for longer periods of time and be more comfortable. Excited to share this learning process with all of you in our Getaway Gang as we continue to figure it all out :)
