If you have one day to eat, this German food tour of Munich will give you some serious satisfaction. I have to admit, I going to multiple back to back restaurants to eat German food is a challenge - German food is so hearty and so filling. By the end of this food tour in Munich, I was ready to sleep immediately!
Here are all the details about the restaurants and prices of the dishes I ate:
1. Andy's Krablergarten
Andy's Krablergarten is known for their schnitzel, and they serve it up in a huge way. The cutlets are made from pork, and they are big and fried fresh. I tried a Hamburg schnitzel with eggs and a Munich style schnitzel with horseradish in the breading. It was fantastic.

2. Andechser am Dom
This is a nice German food restaurant, located on the side of Munich Frauenkirche, a major landmark in the heart of Munich. They serve a variety of traditional German Bavarian cuisine. My favorite dish was the mixed sausage plate, but the leberkäse was also good.

4. Bergwolf
Bergwolf is a German fast food restaurant in Munich, and their speciality is currywurst, a plate of sausage topped in sauce and fries. It’s not the healthiest of all German dishes, but it sure tastes pretty amazing - one of those 3 am kind of dishes.

5. Augustiner Bräustuben

Auf großer Tour durch NRW
Die DB Regio NRW hat für bestimmte Strecken das sogenannte kostenlose Probefahrtticket raus gebracht, da dachte ich mir, ich versuche es mal und bestelle mir so ein Probefahrticket, oder auch zwei, und prompt hatte ich schon zwei.
Mit meinen ersten Probefahrtticket bin ich also mit dem Regionalexpress von Köln nach Dortmund gefahren. Mein erster Weg führte mich zum Uni-Campus in Dortmund, wo auch die H-Bahn fährt, doch da war die Enttäuschung groß, Probebetrieb auf der H-Bahn und Bahnersatz auf der H-Bahn. Also bin ich die Strecke der H-Bahn zu Fuß abgegangen und habe die H-Bahn an verschiedenen Stellen beim Probebetrieb gefilmt, bin dann noch eine Runde mit dem Bahnersatz mit gefahren, irgend wann Mittag essen gegangen, und wo ich wieder komme, fährt die H-Bahn. Dann bin ich mal eine Strecke Auf und Ab mit gefahren. Die H-Bahn ist eine vollautomatische Bahn im Uni-Campus Dortmund, die leider nur Montag bis Freitag fährt, also Samstag, Sonntag und Feiertag Ruhetag hat. Diese gleiche H-Bahn fährt auch in Düsseldorf Flughafen.
Zum Schluß habe ich noch einen ausgiebigen Bummel durch die Innenstadt von Dortmund gemacht. Hier habe ich den Stadtgarten mit den Brunnen besucht, ein Taubenhotel besichtigt, etwas an einen Geschicklichkeitsspiel gespielt, das Denkmal des Bierkutschers gesehen. Durch die Innenstadt ging es wieder zurück zum Bahnhof, wo ich an einen Brunnen gespielt habe.
Was die Nashörner in Dortmund bedeuten sollen, keine Ahnung, vielleicht weiß es ein Anderer.
Und natürlich muss in Dortmund auch das berühmte U der Dortmunder Aktion Union Brauerei gefilmt werden.
Meine zweite Reise führte mich nach Bochum, wie durch ein Wunder lag im Infocenter im Bahnhof ein kostenloser Reiseführer Bochum aus. Im Reiseführer bin ich auf den Brückenpark aufmerksam geworden, also führte mich mein Weg in den Brückenpark von Bochum, wo noch alten Religten des Bergbaues zu sehen sind..
Zum Schluss war ich noch in der Innenstadt von Bochum, da gab es eine sehr schöne Lichtzeichenanlagen zu sehen.

The grey rock, with its layers of reddish marl, is reminiscent of Utah and Arizona which is why the German Winnetou films were shot in this area. Twelve kilometres from Šibenik and depending on the season, various large quantities of water crash down to the Prokljansko Jezero. The water makes its way through small forests and rock sediment that have formed one limestone sinter terrace after another. The masses of water gradually advance to the most spectacular travertin waterfall in Europe, Skradinski Buk. In the Krka, nature has created a wonder, an intriguing spectacle of both water and landscape.

I can say with certainty, chapli kebabs are probably the best form or shape of any kebab or meat patty formation that I’ve ever had in my entire life. This was my first time to try this Pakistani food speciality, and I was blown away with every bite. Chapli kebabs are extraordinary!
Islamabad - Capital Pakistan - So we started off the day in Islamabad, but the plan for the day was to drive to Mardan, eat along the way, and eat our way through Mardan, but mostly focusing the day on chapli kebabs.
Mian Jee Restaurant - One the way to Mardan we stopped at Mian Jee, a very famous restaurant know for all sorts of dishes, but especially their world famous dal. It’s so thick and creamy it’s almost the consistency of peanut butter. And yes, it’s rich and delicious.
Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan - We arrived in Mardan in the early afternoon and headed straight to eat chapli kebabs for the first time.
Chapli Kebab - Mardan - The first place we are chapli kebab was a local favorite spot in Mardan city. I’m not exactly sure of the name, but it’s a very popular spot and known by locals. They had the massive podium fryer, filled with melted fat, and made medium sized burger patties, with big chunks of bone marrow to make this even better. Their chapli kebabs (kababs) were seasoned perfectly with a balance of tomato and cumin. It was an eye opener for me.
Falooda - Next we stopped in Mardan to eat falooda, and from what I understand, Mardan falooda is pretty famous.
River View Restaurant - Next on this day of Mardan and Peshawar, we drove to River View Restaurant, mainly to go on a boat ride in the Kabul River. The river ride was fun, and it was amazing to be cruising down the Kabul river. The restaurant also had delicious food.
Rambail Chapli Kebab, Taru Jabba - But for our real dinner we needed to get another dose of chapli kebabs. On the way, almost to Peshawar city, we stopped at Rambail Chapli Kebab, Taru Jabba, possibly the most famous of all chapli kebab in the world. And when you see their bonfire and podium of a cooking station, you’ll know why it’s the best. They make larger sized patties, filled with spices, and bone marrow, and again fried in their own fat.
The chapli kebabs were so unbelievably delicious, I could hardly control myself. It was an amazing day of Pakistani street food in Pakistan, and an intro to chapli kebabs from the source.
