    Lysefjord or Lysefjorden is a fjord located in the Ryfylke area in southwestern Norway. The 42-kilometre long fjord lies in Forsand municipality in Rogaland county, about 25 kilometres east of the city of Stavanger. The name means light fjord, and is said to be derived from the lightly coloured granite rocks along its sides. It is particularly well known by the huge Preikestolen cliff overlooking the fjord, which is a major tourist destination for the region. The fairly isolated village of Lysebotn lies at the eastern end of the fjord and the villages of Forsand and Oanes both lie at the western end of the fjord near the Lysefjord Bridge, the only crossing of the fjord.

    Dalen is the administrative centre of Tokke municipality, Norway. Its population is 801. Dalen is located on and around the delta where the river Tokke flows into the west end of the lake Bandak. Dalen is the westernmost endpoint of the Telemark Canal which runs to Skien in the east, and became a tourist site with the canal traffic. Dalen Hotel, built in 1894, is among the largest wooden buildings in Norway.Also in Dalen is the hydroelectric power station Tokke kraftverk which exploits the fall from the lake Vinje. Statkraft's regional headquarters for eastern Norway are located in Dalen, and manages 38 power stations. Dalen's population increased as the power systems were constructed in the 1950s, but declined again in the 1960s.

    Innerdalen is a valley in Sunndal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. In 1967, the valley was established as Norway's first nature reserve. The valley and nature reserve begins at the village of Ålvundeid by the Norwegian National Road 70 in the west and stretches approximately 25 kilometres to the east to Innerdalsporten. It lies within the Trollheimen mountain range.The valley is regularly visited by mountain climbers. Some of the mountains include Store Trolla , Skarfjellet , and Innerdalstårnet . For glacier hiking, there is a glacier on top of Kongskrona called Vinnufonna.
