Tennessee man tries to pronounce Wisconsin names! After a little practice he got some of them right the second time. Absolutely hilarious! He's such a good sport. Obviously, a lot of people would have a hard time pronouncing the names of the cities listed below unless you are from those areas! This is in no way meant to make fun of J.B. or anyone trying to pronounce these names. This is also not meant to make fun of the city names in Wisconsin. This is purely a little bit of fun and amusement for people who grew up knowing these city names and hearing someone else not from the area try to say them is entertaining. Hope you enjoy!

10 Years and Rolling - the WC in 1997
The Wisconsin Central was 10 years old in 1997 and had accomplished much. WC had a video made which featured many employees discussing the railroad's success, plus shows numerous shots along the railroad, in the shops, the yards, etc. A good snapshot in time of where things stood.

Backyard Wisconsin Episode 2 - The Waupaca River
As cookie cutter houses with 3-car garages suffocate the fields, grasslands and prairies, it feels good to find tranquil peace along the scrappy banks of the Waupaca River. Not absolute serenity as it twists along US Highway 10 and through downtown Waupaca, however that's what gives the river its diversified appeal. Most of the Waupaca is scrubby shoreline, occasional rock piles and grassy marshes, however you often stumble upon an overpass, farm house or brief stretch of urbania.
Beginning in northeast Portage County as the Tomorrow River, it winds along county roads and through towns like Nelsonville and Amherst before it becomes the Waupaca River and continues through Waupaca and Weyauwega, emptying into the Wolf River. Touching so many towns and roadways gives paddlers a great number of access spots.
As we paddled through some flat stretches, small eddies and boulders on that early warm Spring Saturday, I wondered if we were the first ones to touch our paddles to the current. The ice left only a few weeks prior, and snow melted on the banks during much of our tour. The sun said, move aside winter and really brought the bottom to life, reflecting back through the water off small rocks and the sandy bottom.
The diversity of depth and wildlife also makes this a multi-expedition type of river. We saw hooded mergansers and wood ducks on our trip, but cranes, deer, herons, kingfishers, mink, muskrat and eagles are all part of the package. The depth ranges from shallow flats to deeper, fast flowing curves. And the fallen trees and rocks provide good cover for black bass, northern pike and trout.
The weeks are filled with business meetings, deadlines and stress, leaving your weekends thirsting for some aqua therapy. Load up the boats, paddles, family and PFDs for a float or calorie burning paddle through God's portrait of peace.

*Everything that happened at night was completely authentic, my goal was to document the whole trip and make small video about but strange things happened by the bridge ,till this day i don't plan on going back, who ever was those people at end we're very weird and wounded , they tried to get me out the car to help their friend pointing at the bridge, they seemed out of it and bloody, and their car was no where insight for the next 3 mile out of there, they might of flipped their car or were trying to rob us at 12:15 on a Sunday night. We did call the police but they refused to send help, they respond by saying we have to many calls about marsh road and when we go up there , nothing is there, 3 hours later we called again, they respond with we don't had any police officer available at the time. By that time , we gave up. Just one word of advise, if you do go up there, do not mess with her, or call her out, till this day i get goose bumps think about it, it's unreal. Take it how you want it, its my experience and im here to share it. -Luis Beltran
