Ohiopyle State Park is a Pennsylvania state park on 19,052 acres in Dunbar, Henry Clay and Stewart Townships, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The focal point of the park is the more than 14 miles of the Youghiogheny River Gorge that passes through the park. The river provides some of the best whitewater boating in the Eastern United States. Ohiopyle State Park is bisected by Pennsylvania Route 381 south of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The park opened to the public in 1965, but was not officially dedicated until 1971. Ohiopyle State Park was chosen by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and its Bureau of Parks as one of 25 Must-See Pennsylvania State Parks.

Amazing 50 Day Road Trip Across the USA and Canada

Eight months ago we had an idea... An idea that would take us on a journey across America... This summer we decided to make that idea a reality.

After eight months of planning, many hours of mapping routes and making reservations, and a final three days of intense packing, sorting and repacking; we embarked on our 50 days, 10,000 mile road trip through 38 states and Eastern Canada.

Zuccotti Park Quiet Now After Occupy Wall Street Protests

In 2011, Zuccotti Park attracted thousands of protesters in what became known as the Occupy Wall Street movement. During the demonstration, activists complained that the United States was being governed for the benefit of the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans at the expense of the other 99 percent.. The Zuccotti Park plaza became a staging ground for their protests throughout the Manhattan Financial District.

I shot this video on a Sunday morning in late summer of 2012 when the park was quiet and there were no protesters on the plaza.

According to Wikipedia: Zuccotti Park, formerly called Liberty Plaza Park, is a 33,000-square-foot (3,100 m2) publicly accessible park in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It is a Privately owned public space (POPS) controlled by Brookfield Properties. The park was created in 1968 by Pittsburgh-based United States Steel, after the property owners negotiated its creation with city officials, and named Liberty Plaza Park and situated beside One Liberty Plaza. It is located between Broadway, Trinity Place, Liberty Street and Cedar Street. The park's northwest corner is across the street from Four World Trade Center. It has been popular with local tourists and financial workers.

The park was heavily damaged in the September 11 attacks and subsequent recovery efforts of 2001. The plaza was later used as the site of several events commemorating the anniversary of the attacks. After renovations in 2006, the park was renamed by its current owners, Brookfield Office Properties, after company chairman John Zuccotti.
