She finished 1st place in the downhill event at the 1993 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. She finished 14th at the 1994 Alpine Skiing World Cup. She was a member of the national team at the 1994 Winter Olympics and the 1998 Winter Olympics. She retired in 1998. She is married to Mark Lindsay, a chiropractor. In 1993, she was awarded the Velma Springstead Trophy and the Bobbie Rosenfeld Award. A twelve kilometre pathway, the Kate Pace Way, located in North Bay, Ontario is named in her honour. Welcome to Ontario!

Ontario is one of the biggest provinces in Canada and is home to some amazing cities, attractions, and nature ranging from the massive cosmopolitan city of Toronto to the scenic landscapes of Algonquin Provincial Park. From kayaking next to loons to experiencing Canada Day on Parliament Hill, we had such an incredible time in Ontario.

We took a helicopter over Niagara Falls, interviewed refugees in downtown Toronto, experienced the world's largest escape room just outside of Ottawa, and sampled award-winning wines near Niagara-on-the-Lake. We really packed a lot of adventures into our two short weeks in the province and can't wait to return one day and explore the province further.

We explored Ontario from June 28 - July 14, 2017.

Canada's Road to 150 is a 150-day Canada-wide multi-media road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?

We will drive to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim is to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.
