Toyahvale is an unincorporated community in southern Reeves County, Texas, United States. It lies along State Highway 17 and FM 3078 south of the city of Pecos, the county seat of Reeves County. Despite its similar name, Toyahvale is distinct from the town of Toyah, which lies 25 miles to the north. Its elevation is 3,323 feet . Although Toyahvale is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 79786.Toyahvale's name is a portmanteau: its first half is of a local Indian word for flowing water, combined with vale.     Davis Mountains State Park is a 2,709-acre state park located in the Davis Mountains in Jeff Davis County, Texas. The closest town is Fort Davis, Texas. The park elevation is between 5,000 and 6,000 ft above sea level. The original portion of the park was deeded to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department by a local family. Original improvements were accomplished by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933 and the park was opened to the public around 1938. Campground facilities were added in 1967.
