Greensburg is a city in and the county seat of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States, and a part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The city lies within the Laurel Highlands and the ecoregion of the Western Allegheny Plateau. The city is named after Nathanael Greene, a major general of the Continental Army in the American Revolutionary War. The population was 14,892 at the 2010 census. Located 30 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Greensburg is a major business, academic, tourism and cultural center in Western Pennsylvania. 1. Westmoreland County Courthouse Greensburg
Westmoreland County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. At the 2010 census, the population was 365,169. The county seat is Greensburg. Formed from, successively, Lancaster, Northumberland, and later Bedford Counties, Westmoreland County was founded on February 26, 1773, and was the first county in the colony of Pennsylvania whose entire territorial boundary was located west of the Allegheny Mountains. Westmoreland County originally included the present-day counties of Fayette, Washington, Greene, and parts of Beaver, Allegheny, Indiana, and Armstrong counties. It is named after Westmorland, a historic county of England. Westmoreland County is included in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Statistical Area.

2. Courthouse Tree Greensburg Indiana
The Allegheny County Courthouse in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is part of a complex designed by H. H. Richardson. The buildings are considered among the finest examples of the Romanesque Revival style for which Richardson is well known. The complex is bordered by wide thoroughfares named for city founders James Ross , John Forbes and James Grant . The current building, completed in 1888, was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1976. Richardson later referred to it as his great achievement.

This property was hit really bad by Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and again by Hurricane Wilma in 2005, and suffered damages from unimaginable amounts of flooding.
The owners have since been involved with extensive clean up and repair work to get the building back into shape. They plan to reopen soon, but have yet to announce an official date.

Only known coke oven ruins in allegheny county. Located off 5th Ave N Versailles/East Mckeesport these only come out when the leaves drop. Do not know their history, but very few coke oven operations existed in Allegheny county. Ironically, the main modern coke operations are in fact in Clairton, Allegheny county!
